oUR MISSION
The Mission we participated is inspired from the Book of Tobit; his teachings, life, philosophy and examples. However, we summarized and convert it into programs in order to have an impact and focus in our evangelization effort.
The statements that came out from the mouth and soul of Tobit become our strength and guiding principles to pursue our mission.
"I went out, dug a grave, and buried the man", "Give according to what you have. The more you have, the more you should give. Even if you have only a little, be sure to give something", "Taking care of the poor is the kind of offering that pleases God in heaven", "Give food to the hungry and clothes to people in need. If you are prosperous, give generously, and do it gladly!", "When one of God's faithful people has died, prepare food for the family".

The Focus Programs of Tobitism does not only limit to what is written. Because we understand that helping others has no boundary. If ever we see people need our help, we will accomodate his needs eventhough not listed in our priority Focus Programs. WE EXTEND OUR SERVICES WITHOUT BOUNDARY AND LIMITATIONS FOR GOD IS A GOD FOR EVERYBODY ESPECIALLY TO THE POOR AND THE NEEDY.

OUR AREA OF OPERATION IS IN MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES ONLY. BUT WE ACCEPT DONATIONS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD COMING FROM INDIVIDUAL, ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESSES.

How Does ThE Mission Works
TOBITISM is faithful to its commitment to serve those people who are in dire needs. We do not require our beneficiaries to be a Catholic in order to avail our services. Our services are free to everybody since God and His Church is universal.
We act only as Facilitator between our donors and beneficiaries. We collect pledges from our donors and give it back to people in need based on the intention of the giver. When one of our donors will say that his donation is intended for the schooling of the child or for the sick person in the hospital, we will make sure that our donor's intention will be served.
Our beneficiaries will be screened thoroughly base on our requirements.
1. That he is the poorest among the poor.
2. That has no access to government and other Non-Govenment Organizations services.
3. His life is in danger.
4. Must be at least from the community which is too far from cities and municipalities.
5. Base on the right judgement of the Council of Leaders.
DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS
FEEDING PROGRAMS - We initiate feeding activity to community that have passed our requirements. We focus to children only as our beneficiaries. But in some instance, we will consider adults to benefit the program. Feeding to children does not only limit to serve porridge but also to high nutritional value foods.
SICKNESS, HOSPITALIZATION AND DEATH ASSISTANCE - We provide goods and cash assistance for those who are suffering illness in home or at the hospital. It does not mean that will give shoulder all the financial responsibility of the the beneficiary but only a certain amount that could help in his daily expenses and needs. In case of death, we can share certain amount of foods and other needs to the bereaved family.
EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE - We can share also certain amount or school supplies to our beneficiaries. It is done at the start of classes where tuition fees and and school supplies is badly needed. But we cater only those poor but deserving student. However, if there are donors who will commit to pay his school expenses, monthly tuition fees and allowances, it will be applied to the chosen beneficiaries.
BASIC NEEDS ASSISTANCE - This refers to the basic necessity of the beneficiaries. The Council of Leaders will determine what need of the beneficiary will be provided for; like food, slippers, blanket, mosquito net, utensils, and others.
LIVELIHOOD TRAININGS AND CAPITAL ASSISTANCE - We provide different livelihood trainings of beneficiaries choice and subsequently provide them with initial capitalization so that they can start earning income that will augment their financial needs. We conduct the trainings by group to marginalized sector in the community like the women.
EVANGELIZATION - Nowadays, evangelization needs money. There are thousands of people needs to be evangelized but we can not accomodate due to financial scarcity. This funds are use for traveling expenses, materials, venue if necessary and even for snacks of the participants.
